Long Distance Healing

How does a long distance healing work?  In level two Reiki, one receives the attunement for the long distance symbol.  This Power symbol allows the Reiki Therapist to contact and send Reiki to any individual around the world.  This Power symbol connects the Reiki Therapist's energyfield with that of the client no matter what the distance.  Then the Reiki Therapist can send Reiki to the client.  Sometimes a stuffed animal or a pillow is used to represent the clients body for the therapist to place hands during the course of the hour treatment.

Memory of experiences are in the body
Our entire existence is a process of filtering every experience through our body.  Take a moment to think about it.  Life experience occurs because of our body.  All sounds are experienced through our ears, tastes through our mouth, sight through our eyes.  Each life experience filters through us like we are a colander and is interpreted by the individual perspective and state we are in in the moment.  Our state therefore is truly what determines our perspective of the world.  The filter (body), processing, and interpretation determines our response to any experience.  You can see the importance of ensuring the filter (body) is in the best state possible in order for the view of the world and our response to it is healthy.

My mom once said, "Rheana if there's anything I've learned it is that perspective has everything to do with everything".  Another way of saying this is life is 10% experience and 90% my response to it.  I invite you to experience the healing effect, freedom from pain and the positive shift in perspective Reiki can bring about in you.
